Welcome to the new Basingstoke & Deane Neighbourhood Watch website. Neighbourhood Watch schemes have been running in North Hampshire for many many years - and the number of schemes continues to grow.
In our area there are around 500 schemes (coveringmore than 17000 households) and new ones are opening weekly. Some areas are very well covered. For example Kempshott has 27 schemes, Chineham has 29 and Whitchurch has over 30. However other areas have hardly any schemes in place and therefore miss out on things like cheap Smart Water kits, closer links with the police and council staff as well as being part of the Neighbourhood Watch community - as well as, probably, lower household insurance! This site aims to help both existing schemes and those wishing to set up new ones or re-invigorate ones that have fallen by the wayside. To get the most from the site you should become a registered member. Please look at the bottom left of the Home page to create your own account. The site offers a number of useful features such as your own forum, the ability to order Neighbourhood Watch items (such as leaflets, lamp post signs, Smart Water etc).
