List of Events

As part of our Station Plan for 08/09, Basingstoke Fire Station are planning to hold an open day for partner agencies in the area that we are currently working with and those who we may be able to work with in the future. This event will not be open to the public.

The idea behind the day is to showcase all of the areas of work that Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) are currently involved in, in relation to Community Safety. Our aim is that, by holding such an event, we can raise our profile in the local area and have the opportunity to show other agencies what we are doing and promote thinking and discussion about what we can do in the future in order to achieve our shared aims in relation to Community Safety.

We hope to have representatives from the following departments within HFRS

• Arson Task Force
• Community Fire Safety - Home Fire Safety Visits
• Community Fire Safety - Road Safety
• Firesetters
• YFA
• LIFE
• Princes Trust
• Protection (Technical Fire Safety)
• Business Education
• Schools Team
• Rural Safety
• AFA (Automatic Fire Alarm) Reduction
• Diversity Team

The date of the event will be Thursday 15th January 2009. We are planning for the event to run from 1100-1500hrs, with buffet lunch included.
