Each beat should be producing a monthly Police Bulletin for their area.

At present the police beats are divided into two main sections - town and rural. The Town section consists of 16 beats aptly named 3BB01 to 3BB16. The rural section consists of 9 beats also aptly named 3BW01 to 3BW09. Why they are called BB for town and BW for rural is a mystery which I am sure could be the basis for a friendly chat with you local policeman / policewoman.
